The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a federally funded work training program for Salt Lake County residents 55 years of age or older who meet income guidelines. Participants on the program can expect:
- Paid on-the-job-skills training
- Computer training
- Free job search assistance
- Resume' assistance
- Interview coaching
The goal of SCSEP is either part-time or full-time employment for its participants. Age and income eligibility requirements must be met.
Salt Lake County Aging Services' Senior Employment Program is a Workforce Investment Act (WIA) designated One-Stop Partner.
Free employment services are available to all Salt Lake County residents age 55 and older.

- Job listings targeted to older workers
- Resume' development specifically for older workers
- Interview coaching designed to overcome age biases
- Aging Services resource referrals
