Make us your first phone call. We provide information about Aging Services, resources and help you find options
Are you or another older person you know having problems? Do you need help finding services or other resources to help with these problems? Do you have other questions you'd like to talk to someone about? The Outreach Program may be able to help you.
The Outreach Program responds to calls for information and assistance from the elderly, their family members and the public and provides information on services and programs available to older adults in Salt Lake County.
Staff can contact you on the telephone or visit with you in-person to discuss your problems, the help you need, and then connect you with programs and agencies who can help with these problems. Staff also follow up on these referrals to insure that you are receiving the help that you need. If you have a low income, staff can help you complete forms for various rebate and utility assistance programs. A Health Insurance Information Program is also available to answer your questions concerning health insurance coverage.
The Outreach Program can also put you in touch with other aging programs across the nation to help connect you with services to assist your relatives and friends who live outside Salt Lake County.
