The mission of Salt Lake County Aging Services is to foster the independence of Salt Lake County's older generations. To achieve our goal of maximizing the independence of older adults, Aging Services offers an array of programs. The needs of Salt Lake County's seniors are diverse. To reflect that diversity, Aging Services' programs encompass a two-pronged approach:

1. Offering options and opportunities for healthy, active adults

2. Providing services that help the frail elderly remain independent and living in their own homes for as long as possible
